Self-Chosen North Star Principles or Self Directed Principles

Unlike authorized Wiccan Principles (Principles known to be suggested for Wiccans), North Star Principles are positive principles that a Wiccan has also chosen to use in their practice or to use as a part of their magickal framework.
A North Star Principle could be anything. It could be a family or cultural edict. It could be a passage in the bible or another religious  or spiritual passage. It could be a passage one read in a self-help journal. It could be an affirmation or prayer. In essence a North Star Principle can be anything as long as it is a teacher of positive life journeys.

Examples of North Star Principles are:
1) The 42 Laws of Ma’at
2) The Witches Pyramid, Written by Eliphas Levi (1810–1875)  – “To Know, To Dare, To Will and To Keep Silent”
3) The Nine Insights of the Celestine Prophecy
4) The Biblical Book of Psalms
